With such a warm September here in Connecticut, until last weekend I could not even consider decorating for fall. Driving some of our local back roads I noticed others were finally hanging up their fall front door decor, placing mums on their stoop, and I even saw a pumpkin or two. Sadly pumpkins will have to wait at my house as our friendly neighborhood squirrels love to snack on them, but I will be hanging up my wreath.
While a store-bought wreath is perfectly fine, I love a handmade wreath since they tend to be more unique and combine a variety of elements. With that in mind, I scoured Etsy to find an assortment of fall front door decor just for you, in case you are a little behind with your fall decorating, too. I focused on finding wreaths and other front door decor that would look perfect on any New England home, or anywhere else for that matter. Here in New England we tend to prefer traditional colors and natural materials, without too much fuss or embellishment.

In addition to finding creative handmade fall front door decor, purchasing from Etsy also supports small business owners, which is a bonus. Has this provided some inspiration for your fall decorating? I would love to know where you live and how you decorate for fall!
