Charleston, y’all!! I just had to say that! I visited Charleston last week with my husband and daughter for five days, and it exceeded my expectations. History, architecture, amazing restaurants and shopping all wrapped up in one gorgeous little city. More to come about my trip, but in the meantime here is this lovely little home from Tradd Street, one of the most charming streets in Charleston. It has everything that makes the historic architecture of Charleston so appealing: pastel colors, window boxes, wrought iron and a beautiful front door. This one has a balcony for an extra special touch, and we were lucky enough to see it opened up. It was early evening when we took our walk, and all of the homes on Tradd have gaslight fixtures that give the neighborhood a very old world feel as they flicker. The street is narrow and the homes are very close together, and as we walked we enjoyed peeking through wrought iron gates to get a glimpse of the tiny gardens on the other side. So much to soak in!
My name is Deb Cohen, and I am a lifelong resident of Connecticut, a lover of all things historic and New England, and a realtor who helps buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals and dreams. When I’m not working, I enjoy life with my husband, our two adult children, and our two rescue pups. Renovating and decorating our historic home, dating to 1800, is another favorite pastime.
The word, perfect, comes to mind looking at this gorgeous home. It has everything. 🙂
Doesn’t it though? It’s just dreamy!!
